Salvation Army Bell Ringing 2012

Salvation Army Bell Ringing 2012

For over 60 years, a friendly rivalry between Downtown civic clubs has continued.  We are thrilled to pass along the report of the Salvation Army's Lois Green about our Kiwanis Club's bell ringing at Byron's Liquor Store during December 2012:

Kiwanis Club of Oklahoma City raised $9,405.32.  (This amount is believed to be a record high.)
Rotary 29, the Downtown Club, raised $7,193.30.

2011:

Kiwanis Club of Oklahoma City, $7,355.45.  Rotary 29, the Downtown Club, $6560.14.

Stephen Nichols has been our bell ringing chair for the past two years.

Thanks!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               All ringers                                                                                                                                                Byron Gambulos                                                                                                                                             Byron's                                                                                                                                                            Byron's generous customers

To all civic and church organizations that continue to ring bells for the Salvation Army, thank you for stepping up still to champion your community in this way.  We do not want to abdicate this responsibility to others.
